Ross Heiman
VP, Engineering
Prior to Clearway, Ross spent over 9 years at SunPower where he held various leadership roles in the Design & Engineering team developing, designing, and supporting the construction of 3+ GW of utility and commercial scale solar projects globally. He was active in the development and deployment of several iterations of SunPower’s utility and commercial racking products and led multiple process improvement and closed-loop learning initiatives. Ross originally joined NRG Energy in 2016, before the Renewables team was spun out to form Clearway Energy Group.
Ross holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Cal Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, is an avid musician, and is passionate about a decarbonized future.
Ross Heiman is the Vice President of Engineering at Clearway Energy Group, where he oversees Development and Operations Engineering for utility scale solar, battery, and wind projects.
