Amelia McKeithen
Deputy General Counsel & Assistant Corporate Secretary
Prior to Clearway, Amelia was an Associate of Global Project Finance at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP where she represented renewable energy project developers and investors in all aspects of project development, with a focus on tax equity investments and back-leverage loans. She was also an Associate of Energy and Infrastructure at Hunton & Williams LLP where she represented financial institutions in tax equity partnership-flip investments in wind and solar energy projects. Amelia served as an Attorney-Advisor on the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission in Washington D.C. reviewing development applications relating to natural gas and hydroelectric infrastructure; drafted, and filed responsive orders pursuant to the Natural Gas Act, Federal Power Act, and the Code of Federal Regulations; managed Qualifying Conduit program established by Hydropower Regulatory Efficiency Act of 2013.
Amelia holds a Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt University Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Environmental Thought & Practice from the University of Virginia.
