Dan Hendrick
VP, External Affairs
Dan has over 20 years of experience in external affairs, communications, and advocacy campaigns around renewable energy. Prior to re-joining Clearway in 2023, Dan was Vice President of Government Affairs at REV Renewables, where he led government relations for REV’s operating fleet and development pipeline throughout the United States. Prior to joining REV, Dan was head of External Affairs – East for Clearway, where he oversaw state and local advocacy and community engagement in the Eastern U.S. Dan previously served as Director of External Affairs – East at NRG, a Fortune 500 energy company.
Dan is a proud Navy veteran, as well as a filmmaker and author. He is the past president of the NY-Solar Energy Industries Association, was a founding board member of the Coalition for Community Solar Access, and most recently the Chair of the American Clean Power Association’s East Region Committee. He is a graduate of Columbia University.
Dan Hendrick is the Vice President of External Affairs for Clearway Energy Group, one of the largest clean energy companies in the U.S. Dan oversees government, regulatory, and market affairs as well as external and internal communications.
