Sarah Rubenstein
EVP & Chief Financial Officer
Sarah has approximately 25 years of experience, primarily in technical accounting and financial reporting, serving as CWEN’s principal accounting officer since 2020, and prior to that providing oversight for Clearway’s corporate accounting functions and financial reporting activities. Before moving over to Clearway, Sarah spent eight years with NRG Energy, Inc. leading the technical accounting and financial reporting groups. She also held roles providing financial leadership at EPV Solar, Inc., a solar panel manufacturer, and leading the technical accounting and financial reporting groups for Warner Music Group, a global music entertainment company. Sarah began her career as an auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers. In addition, she has spent time as a part-time lecturer at Rutgers University and has served as a mentor through the Rutgers Center for Women in Business and as a board member and board treasurer for the New Jersey Children’s Alliance.
Sarah received a B.S. in Accounting from the Rutgers Business School and is a Certified Public Accountant.
