Andrew Cosner is one of Clearway’s technicians at our 54 MW Pinnacle wind farm. Like many West Virginians, Andrew comes from a family of coal miners. And like many wind techs, climbing a 300-foot wind turbine meant confronting challenges.

With 469 MW in operating assets in the state, Clearway’s footprint represents the majority of West Virginia’s wind energy economy and generates enough electricity to power 350,000 homes.
Black Rock wind powers Grant and Mineral Counties with reliable, affordable, clean energy – and helps West Virginia create a better, more sustainable future. This 115 MW wind farm increases West Virginia’s wind capacity by 15%, providing enough clean electricity to power 55,000 homes.
Generating clean, reliable energy and community-enhancing opportunities, this 54 MW wind farm, located in Mineral County, has added nearly 16% more clean power for West Virginia’s energy grid compared with the original Pinnacle Wind.
Mount Storm Wind powers West Virginia with reliable, affordable, clean energy. This 132-turbine wind farm leverages our existing wind portfolio in West Virginia, allowing us to provide operational efficiencies, while creating new jobs and continuing to boost the local economy.
