Human rights and labor practices
Clearway treats its employees, communities, and contractors with respect every step of the way.
As part of our commitment to sustainable and responsible business practices, Clearway has aligned the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact into strategies and operations and is committed to respecting human and labor rights, safeguarding the environment, and working against corruption in all its forms.
Clearway’s Supplier Code of Conduct expressly requires the basic human rights of employees and does not force employees to work against their will. All work performed for suppliers must be voluntary, and workers shall be free to leave work at any time or terminate their employment. Forced, involuntary prison labor, slavery or trafficking of persons is prohibited.
We support the UN Global Compact
The UN Global Compact is a volunteer initiative based on CEO commitments to implement universal sustainability principles and to take steps to support UN goals.
